Who this policy covers
This policy explains what information Baseline Murrieta Concrete collects when you use our website, why we collect it and what we do with it. We're a concrete contractor in Murrieta, CA, and this site exists so homeowners and property owners can learn about our work and ask us for an estimate.
It covers every page of the site, starting with our home page, and the contact form linked from it. It doesn't cover other websites we link to, which have their own policies.
By using the site, you agree to the practices described here. If you don't agree, please don't send us information through the site.
Information you give us
We collect what you choose to send us. When you fill out our contact form or call us, that's usually your name, phone number, email address, the property address and a description of the job, such as a cracked driveway or a new patio.
Our contact form is run by an outside form service, so what you type goes to that service first and then to us. Please don't send payment card numbers, Social Security numbers or other sensitive details through the form, because we never need them to give you an estimate.
Information collected automatically
Like most websites, ours can collect basic technical details when you visit. That can include your browser type, device type, the pages you viewed, how long you stayed, the site that sent you here and a general location based on your internet address.
We use analytics tools to see this in summary form, so we can tell which pages people read and fix the ones that aren't helping. These tools don't tell us who you are unless you also contact us.
Cookies
Cookies are small files a website stores in your browser. Our site and the analytics and form tools it uses may set cookies so the site works properly and so we can count visits and see how people move through the pages.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. The site should still work if you do, though some features, like the contact form, may not work as smoothly.
How we use your information
We use what you send us to answer your question, schedule a visit to your property, prepare your estimate and do the work if you hire us. We may also contact you afterward about that job, such as to confirm a pour date or follow up once it's done.
We use the automatic information to understand how the site is used and to make it clearer and faster. We may also use any of it when the law requires us to, or to protect our business, our customers and the public from fraud or misuse.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with other companies for their own marketing.
We share it only with the service providers that help us run the site and the business, such as our form service, website host and analytics tools, and only so they can do that work for us. We may also share information when a law, a court order or a government agency requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep the information you send us for as long as we need it to answer you, finish your job and handle any follow-up or warranty questions. After that, we keep only what tax, business or other legal record-keeping rules require, and delete the rest when we no longer need it.
Analytics information is kept in summary form for as long as the tool we use stores it, so we can compare how the site does over time.
How we protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe, such as limiting who on our team can see it and using service providers that secure their systems. No website or email system is completely secure, though, so we can't promise that information sent over the internet will never be exposed.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it or ask us to delete it. We'll do that unless we're required to keep something, such as records tied to a job we've done for you.
If you live in California, state privacy law may give you additional rights over your personal information, including the right to know what's collected and the right not to be treated differently for using your rights. Because we don't sell personal information, there's nothing to opt out of on that front.
You can also ask us to stop calling or emailing you about anything other than a job you've hired us for, and we'll stop.
Children's privacy
This site is meant for adults hiring a contractor, and we don't knowingly collect information from children under 13. If you think a child has sent us information, let us know and we'll delete it.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy when our site, our tools or the law changes. When we do, we'll post the new version on this page, and it applies from the time it's posted.
How to reach us about privacy
If you have a question or concern about your information, or want to use any of the rights above, call us at (951) 477-4538 or send a message through our contact page. We answer the phone Monday through Sunday, 8 AM to 9 PM, and we'll tell you what we have and what we can do about it.
